How Revelation 21:5 Inspired the Newly Yours Brand

Hello Lovelies!

Thank you so much for joining me. I wanted to take a break from the usual product posts, Instagram stories, and LIVE Facebook videos to share with you how Newly Yours Boutique came to be.

Back in the summer of 2018, I decided I was going to open up a store of my own. This was a big decision and when I told my family about my newest adventure I was expecting at least some hesitation. It turns out that isn't what I received at all. Within the first five minutes of listening to my "pitch" my parents had offered me their entire loft at their home to keep all my supplies and products when they weren't being featured at my pop up shop or at events. I shouldn't have ever doubted their faith in not only my plan, but myself.

As we all sat down in the family room it was time to give my business a name. We came up with every name under the sun, but following an internet search we quickly realized we weren't as clever as we thought! ALL of the names we came up with were taken. After about two hours of brainstorming, I decided it was time to call it a night and told the family we would pick up where we left off the next morning. Waking up the next day I started thinking of how I wanted to somehow incorporate my name into my brand. Newburg isn't the most feminine of names though!

The rest of the day the word "New" kept coming to my mind. I started looking up bible verses and the first one that popped up was Revelation 21:5 "Behold I make all things new." I began writing down on a piece of notebook paper the possibilities when I found myself scribbling down Newly Yours. It was catchy, it was short, it was PERFECT!

God is incorporated in every aspect of my life, so he will also be incorporated in every aspect of my store. Put Him first, and I promise you, He will make all things new!

XOXO
